Obecna siedziba Muzeum Wojskowego w mieście. Jej budowa sięga czasów rzymskich. Za panowania Alfonsa VI i Alfonsa X Mądrego dokonano przebudowy, w wyniku której powstała pierwsza twierdza na planie kwadratu z wieżami na rogach. Za panowania cesarza Karola V budowlę przebudowano ponownie, tym razem pod okiem architekta Alonso de Covarrubiasa. Fasady są renesansowe, z wieżyczkami i blankami obronnymi, zbudowane według pierwszych planów Alonso de Covarrubiasa, a później Juana de Herrery. Na górnym piętrze budynku mieści się również Biblioteka Regionalna Kastylii-La Manchy.
