Kościół rzymskokatolicki pod wezwaniem Wniebowstąpienia Matki Bożej w Baile Herculane znajduje się na Placu Herkulesa, stanowiąc jeden z celów turystycznych kurortu. Obiekt wpisany na listę zabytków. Kaplica jest otwarta o każdej porze dnia, każdego dnia w roku. Na frontonie kaplicy, wspartej na czterech kolumnach w stylu jońskim, można odczytać rok 1838, jest to rok konsekracji kościoła. Za kaplicą wznosi się dzwonnica, na którą można wejść po schodach u podnóża lasu.
