Casón del Buen Retiro to jeden z dwóch budynków, które przetrwały zniszczenie Pałacu Buen Retiro, od którego wziął swoją nazwę. Obecnie mieści się tam Centrum Studiów Muzeum Prado ze spektakularną biblioteką dzieł sztuki, w której można swobodnie podziwiać piękne freski autorstwa Luki Giordano, zdobiące sklepienie dawnej Sali Balowej. Zbudowano go w 1637 roku według projektu Alonso Carbonella. Główną fasadę, od strony zachodniej, wykonał Velázquez Bosco.
