Choggia to niewielkie portowe miasteczko około 50 km na południe od Wenecji. Bardzo urokliwe, położone na kilku wyspach weneckiej laguny nazywane jest "małą Wenecją". W przeciwieństwie do Wenecji Chioggia jednak tętni naturalnym życiem. Na tutejszej lagunie cumują dziesiątki statków, a codziennie rano można kupić świeże owoce morza. Podobno można tu zjeść najlepszą zupę rybną w całym regionie Wenecji Euganejskiej.
