Fort Vézelois , zwany także w skrócie Fort Ordener, został zbudowany w latach 1883-1886. Jest to dzieło wchodzące w skład fortyfikacji wschodniej Francji typu Séré de Rivières. Stanowi integralną część twierdzy Belfort. Od 1893 roku fort ten był połączony strategiczną linią kolejową z wieloma innymi fortami w okolicy Belfort. Podczas obu wojen światowych Fort Ordener był nieaktywny. Będzie on następnie wykorzystywany jako skład amunicji dla wojska. Fort Ordener został kupiony przez gminę Vézelois w 1999 roku . Stowarzyszenie „Le Renouveau du Fort de Vézelois” zajmuje się renowacją fortu.
