Hivjufossen to jeden z najpiękniejszych wodospadów w Buskerud, położony w pobliżu Hovet w Hallingdal w Norwegii. Musimy przejść około 3 kilometrów, ścieżka startuje z rv. 50 ok. 300 metrów poniżej Bakkebrua i wspina się po stromym brzozowym zagajniku do Hivjufossen. Mniej więcej w połowie drogi do wodospadu, w Hivjudokkgrovi, znajdują się pozostałości starej osady. Hivjufossen zapewnia wspaniały widok. Cały wodospad ma około 250 metrów. Najlepszy okres na wizytę w Hivjufossen to późna wiosna i wczesne lato, kiedy wodospad zasila woda ze stopionego śniegu. Creative Commons: DutchColours
