Przylądek Północny jest najbardziej wysuniętym na północ krańcem kontynentalnej części Holandii. Znajduje się po północnej stronie Emmapolderu, na skraju gminy Het Hogeland w prowincji Groningen. Aby oznaczyć to miejsce, a tym samym przyciągnąć więcej turystów, ówczesna gmina Eemsmond kazała umieścić w 2002 roku w tym miejscu dzieło artysty René de Boera De Hemelpoor. De Hemelpoort to imponująca brama o wysokości 2,5 metra wykonana ze stali, która narażona na trudne warunki atmosferyczne przybrała rdzawobrązowy kolor. Creative Commons: Hardscarf, Gerardus
