Zabytek religijny, z którego dumne jest Campo de Criptana, zwłaszcza pokolenia, które pamiętają wysiłek włożony we wzniesienie budynku parafialnego, na który przeznaczono liczne darowizny pieniężne, pieniężne i materiałowe. Poprzedni kościół (z XVI w.), znajdujący się w tym samym miejscu, został spalony w 1936 r. podczas wojny domowej. W 1958 roku nastąpiło uroczyste otwarcie kościoła Matki Bożej Wniebowziętej.
