Santo Domingo de Guzmán był pierwszym klasztorem w Cabrze, założonym w 1550 r. na bazie małej pustelni, zwanej Doktryną, z początku XVI wieku. XVI. W obecnej pracy widać wpływ reform przeprowadzonych w różnych okresach, zwłaszcza w drugiej połowie XX wieku, kiedy to odnowiono ołtarz główny z rzeźbą św. Dominika. Na odsłoniętej ceglanej fasadzie znajduje się wejście z białego wapienia z dwiema marmurowymi kolumnami, których głowice podtrzymują niszę z wizerunkiem Niepokalanego Poczęcia. Na uwagę zasługuje imponująca wysokość sklepienia kolebkowego.
