Uważany za największą świątynię na wyspie Pico, kościół Santa Maria Madalena został zbudowany w XVI wieku. XVII prezentujący jednak fasadę odrodzeniowego smaku, już z poł. XIX. Warto zwiedzić wnętrze i podziwiać zabytkowe panele kaflowe, złoconą kaplicę główną oraz wizerunki wotywne.
