Ozdobą, pięknie położonej na Magurze Orawskiej w dolinie rzeki Orawa, słowackiej wioski Istebné jest drewniany artykularny kościół, którego historia sięga 1686 r. Pierwotnie stała tu mała kaplica i dopiero w 1730 roku została powiększona. Świątynia powstała na planie krzyża greckiego. W wnętrzu uwagę przykuwa barokowy ołtarz, florencka ambona z posągami ewangelistów, empory, oraz piękne malowidła.
