Brzeźnica to wieś położona w województwie lubuskim, w powiecie żagańskim. Tutejszy barokowy kościół wybudowano w latach 1703-1705. Z zewnątrz jest bardzo podobny do trzynawowej bazyliki. Świątynia posiada transept, co jest rzadkością przy wiejskich kościołach. Od strony zachodniej znajduje się wieża, która jest pozostałością po wcześniejszym gotyckim kościele. Znajduje się w niej cenny dzwon odlany w 1579 roku. Barokowe wnętrze kryje wyposażenie z początku XVIII wieku.
