Muzeum Wybrzeża w Skagen jest połączenim skansenu i muzeum wystawienniczego z odbudowanymi domami z trzech okresów w historii Skagen. Okresu Czarnego (do ok. 1875), Okresu Żółtego (ok. 1875-1907) i Okresu Czerwonego (po 1907). Można tutaj zobaczyć, jak bogaci i biedni rybacy oraz jak żyli w bardzo różnych warunkach.
