Gmach sądu w Halle powstał w latach 1901-1905 jako potężny czterokondygnacyjny budynek, który ukształtował krajobraz miasta. Wewnątrz i na zewnątrz liczne dekoracje architektoniczne w stylu późnego gotyku i wczesnego renesansu. Główna klatka schodowa została zaprojektowana jako stroma, kopulasta hala. Ten pomnik jest jednym z najbardziej wyszukanych i najważniejszych architektonicznie pałaców sprawiedliwości okresu wilhelmińskiego. Jednocześnie jest częścią miejskiego obszaru zabytków. Pierwotnie utworzony jako sąd cywilny, kompleks budynków służy obecnie jako sąd sprawiedliwości.
