Wciąż czynna latarnia morska Cap Fréhel jest jedną z pięciu najpotężniejszych latarni morskich we Francji. Jej reflektor znajduje się ponad 100 metrów nad poziomem morza i ma zasięg ponad 50 km. Pierwszą latarnię morską zbudowano tu na początku XVIII wieku według oryginalnych wskazówek Vaubana. Ta ostatnia została całkowicie przebudowany w pierwszej połowie XIX wieku, zanim został zniszczony przez II wojnę światową. Obecna latarnia morska została zbudowana w latach 1946-1950, w całości z kamienia.
