Kolej wąskotorowa Sonda-Mustvee przejeżdżała przez Avinurme w latach 1926-1972. Był to prawdziwy okres prosperity wiosek wzdłuż szlaku, który trwał prawie 50 lat. Do tej pory odrestaurowano 178,5-metrowy odcinek dawnej linii kolejowej, most kolejowy, tabor i pawilon poczekalni. Latem 2019 otwarto dodatkowy odcinek kolejowy - 1 km. Creative Commons: Sillerkiil
