Porte Rivotte to budynek wojskowy położony w sektorze Rivotte, niedaleko historycznego centrum Besançon. Jest to jedna z dwóch ostatnich bram miejskich Besançon. Została zbudowana w XVI wieku za panowania cesarza Karola V. Zachowały się dwie boczne wieże. Centralna fasada została zmodyfikowana w XVII wieku za panowania Ludwika XIV, ale słońce, symbol tego króla, nadal zdobi fronton bramy. Natomiast herb z trzema fleurs-de-lys (herb królewski) i korona zostały w czasie rewolucji rozbite.

W 1893 roku bramę ponownie poddano znaczącym modyfikacjom: zasypano rowy, przebito w basztach dwa przejścia dla pieszych, usunięto most zwodzony i kratę oraz zniszczono część frontową od strony miasta.
