(0)Porte Vannetaise jest powszechnie uważana za najstarszą pozostałość muru miejskiego zbudowanego w 1343 roku przez Jeana de Montforta. Brama Vannetaise znajduje się w północnej części starego miasta, jest bramą wejściową. Dwie wieże obramowujące przejazd wejściowy są na planie półkola.
