Od strony zachodniej przewyższenie drogi wynosi 700 m. Na odcinku 9 km pokonujemy 25 zakrętów. Od wschodu jest znacznie mniej zakrętów i prawie cały czas odkryty teren który zapewnia nam doskonałe widoki z czego słynie Silvretta Hochalpenstrasse. Najwyższy punkt trasy to przełęcz Bielerhohe (2036 m n.p.m.) leżąca na granicy Tyrolu i Vorarlbergu. Znajduje się tam jezioro zaporowe Silvretta. Na początku lipca corocznie odbywa się tu rajd starych samochodów, które można zobaczyć tutaj nie tylko w czasie rajdu.
