Zaporę Malter, zbudowano w latach 1908–1913. Budowla jest zakrzywioną zaporą grawitacyjną, zbudowaną z kamienia łupanego. W latach 1968-1983 na zaporze działała stacja podwodna Malter I, czyli podwodne stanowisko do nurkowania i pracy, które zwykle ustawia się na dnie morskim w celach badawczych. Tuż obok zapory przebiega torowisko kolejki wąskotorowej akurat mieliśmy szczęście zobaczyć przejeżdżający stary tabor.
