Zámek Červené Poříčí jest wyjątkowym przykładem budowli saksońskiej w stylu renesansowym, zachowanej w regionie Pilzna. Zabytkiem zarządza Narodowy Instytut Zabytków, terytorialna administracja zabytków Czeskich Budziejowic. Zamek został zbudowany w 1611 roku Przez Mikuláša Šicia z Drahenic na miejscu starszej twierdzy Mladota z Jelmanic. W XIX wieku należał do rodziny cesarskiej, a po powstaniu Republiki Czechosłowackiej został upaństwowiony. Dziś obiekt po okresie zaniedbań jest cały czas remontowany, ale i udostępniony do zwiedzania.
