To ogromna twierdza o długości prawie stu metrów, z której zniknął Donżon, wykorzystywany jako kamieniołom. Wieże nie wystają poza mury, co jest typowe dla zamków, które miały wytrzymać ostrzał artyleryjski. Majestatyczny, jego zewnętrzne mury i obszar mieszkalny świadczą o włoskich wpływach, a ogólny wygląd przypomina solidne zamki na płaskowyżach, typowe dla Kastylii.
