Skaliste wybrzeże Vidzeme jest rezerwatem przyrody w parafiach Liepupe i Salacgrivas w okręgu Limbažu, jest częścią Rezerwatu Biosfery Północnego Vidzeme. Kamienista plaża rozciąga się na długości 12 kilometrów i szerokości 20-40 metrów na wybrzeżu Vidzeme w Zatoce Ryskiej, gdzie na wybrzeżu Morza Bałtyckiego znajdują się jedyne na Łotwie wychodnie piaskowców.
